I was having a coffee with Mel today and bumped into an old school friend who we got chatting to. It went from general chit chat to her opening up about the trouble her sister has had to get pregnant. She finally got pregnant and nearly 12 months ago she had her miracle baby, but it came at a price. Thru the pregnancy the mum developed blood clots in her leg and is very lucky to be alive. Only a few months ago during a doctors check up this little baby girl was discovered to have a hole in her heart which is growing bigger as she keeps growing… As this girl shared this story to me today my heart literally broke for this family… We live in a generation where so much hurt & brokeness is around us… I very quickly felt compelled to share with this old friend & give her some hope in this tough time.

The reason I’m sharing this isn’t to focus on the hurt in this world but to remind everyone that the only 1 true hope in this generation is Jesus… Only this morning I prayed for opportunities to speak life into someones world and in the space of 2 hours I had two insane situations opportunities one in a coffee shop & another to a girl cutting my hair… So often before I have been going thru life so fast to slow down and speak into peoples needs let alone see an opportunity.

I encourage you to pray for opportunity & then still urself enough to see and take the opportunities as God gives them to you…

Here’s the even better bit! Only 10 mins after getting a haircut and sharing I saw a Lady I know who has had a major facial operation & str8 away an opportunity to speak life into her situation came up… When you make yourself available doors will open…

Hope this blesses u & encourages u to be the positive influence in a generation that is filled with so much hurt and pain.
